Amplify Presentations Limited is bound by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 and this Privacy Notice explains the personal data we may collect about you when you contact us, either as a consequence of completing forms on our website, engaging with us through social media or completing paper documents. You may have contacted us by telephone and we have had to record some personal details in order to answer your query and get back to you. The Privacy Notice also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, keep it safe and your rights.

What information do we collect and why?

Personal information might include your name, postal address, phone number and email address, LinkedIn and Twitter details.

We also monitor the use of our website and collect non-personal information such as IP addresses (the location of the computer on the internet), pages accessed and files downloaded. This helps us to determine how many people visit the website on a regular basis and how it might be improved. This information doesn’t tell us anything about who you are or where you live.

The information we collect is either needed to answer your enquiry or is used in connection with specific activities, such as distribution of newsletters, details of business activities or registration with Amplify and specific events. You don’t have to disclose any of this information to browse the website.

How long do we keep personal information?

Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we’ll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. You may request at any time for your personal data to be erased from our records.

Updating your information

From time to time we will ask you to confirm the accuracy of the data we hold about you and at the same time will provide you with the opportunity to opt out and to request that  your personal data to be erased.

Using your information for marketing

The information we collect is used to enhance communications by distribution of newsletters or news about webinars, books, events. If you do not want to receive this information, please send an email headed “Data Protection” to and your contact details will be retained but not used for this purpose.

Sharing your information

We never sell or share your information to other organisations to use for their own purposes.

We will only share your information if:

  • We are legally required to do so, e.g. by a law enforcement agency legitimately exercising a power, if compelled by an order of the Court
  • We are working with a carefully-selected partner that is carrying out work on our behalf and if they have signed a contract that requires them to abide by the requirements of the Data Protection Act and treat your information as carefully as we would. Such instances include Associates of Amplify who are delivering work on change management and leadership coaching . The data would only be used for the purposes it was supplied.

Storing your information

We place a great importance on the security of all personally identifiable information. Only authorised personnel have access to your information. Personal information is held on computers and within our CRM and Financial systems (which are GDPR compliant) with access password protected access. All emails containing personal information are password protected and can only be accessed by authorised personnel and the intended recipient.

Authorised users of our computer systems are instructed that it is their responsibility to keep password confidential and are not to share them with anyone. Passwords are updated on a regular basis.

Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation 2016 gives you certain rights over your data and how we use it. These include:

  • The right in certain circumstances to have inaccurate personal data rectified, blocked, erased or destroyed
  • The right to prevent your data being used for direct marketing
  • The right of access to a copy of the information we hold about you (known as a subject access request)
